Job Scope

The Warehouse Manager is accountable for running the day-to-day warehousing operations including but not limited to the accurate receipt, storage and dispatch of inventory while regularly updating transactions on the system and overseeing stock levels. S/He handles a vital part of the supply chain process, manages people, processes and systems in order to ensure that productivity targets are met .

Main Duties And Responsibilities

Technical and Operations
Aim at a high level of customer satisfaction through planning and executing the day-to-day warehousing operations in an efficient and timely manner;
Adhere to the safety and hygiene rules and regulations and safeguard stored materials and assets;
Control the reception of merchandise, price, label and update the system while ensuring proper storage and documentation;
Receive invoices of delivered goods matching with requested purchase orders;
Report any defect/damaged products or overage/shortage in merchandise to the Finance Manager and follow up as necessary;
Dispatch and transfer merchandise to concerned ensuring proper documentation and system updates;
Schedule, manage and follow up on the itinerary of shipments for timely deliverables;
Manage the replenishment system, conduct periodic inventories and guarantee an optimal stock level at all times;
Coordinate regularly with the procurement and logistics teams on order processing, shipping terms and other related activities;
Review processes in place, identify areas of improvement and recommend changes aiming at reducing damages, eliminating errors and enhancing other workflows;
Prepare the daily activity and other periodic reports and update transactions on the system on a regular basis;
Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage system;
Handle customs procedures and ensure the upkeeping of records for customs audit;
Confer and coordinate activities with other departments;

Talent Development
Lead and coach the team cultivating empowerment and ownership;
Develop capabilities and secure a solid succession plan;
Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs and oversee development plans.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any other related field
Proficiency in MS Office namely Excel
At least 7 years of relevant experien ce
