General Description of the Organization:

Ghiras Al-Nahda is a Non-profit Non-governmental humanitarian organization working to empower people through fulfilling their basic needs and seeking to improve community stability and resilience.

Training purpose:

The training aims to provide full information and clear explanations to GAN’s employees about the Microsoft services, which will contribute to reducing the time and effort used in communicating and archiving the files, and we will be able to invest in these services in GAN.

Training Description:

GAN is looking for a trainer with experience in Microsoft Office applications/services to provide training to front-line employees in Syria and administrative staff in Turkey.

The assignment is to impart 1 day training on Microsoft Office. The training will be face to face for the team in Syria and the team in Turkey will attend online. The scope of the training program will provide advance level of skills to GAN employees.

The training is aimed to achieve following objectives:

· What is Office 365? What are the services provided in the package?

· How to use Microsoft Teams to communicate and manage teams.

· How to use SharePoint, the features available to share files and work on them collaboratively.

· OneDrive for business (on-premises).

· Email management through (Outlook), and the most prominent commands available in the program to achieve more productivity.

· Create Microsoft Forms and collect data from them.

· Microsoft Power Automate.

· Tips.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The trainer/consultant/resource person will:

– Sign with GAN a consultancy agreement and work as a resource person for the one-day training event.

– Discuss and agree with GAN on the final training package, content, and deliverables.

– Design an appropriate process of the training leading to the desired results.

– Propose on the most appropriate training methodology for effective delivery of the assignment.

– Device the tools required for the training.

– Satisfactorily facilitate the training and ensuring active engagement of all the participants.

– Share relevant training materials and provide any resource materials for further reading and reference by GAN staff.

– Compile and submit quality training report (one soft copy)

Skills & Competencies:

The resource person/consultant should possess following qualifications and expertise:

– Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Share point, Outlook, Microsoft Team and One Drive)

– Relevant experience in developing and delivering training modules and materials on Microsoft Office 365

– Good skills in softcopy archiving.

– ITE or IE or any related field or experience
