
MP Materials
- Assist in conducting metallurgical studies and procedure development at the milling and flotation facility.
- Perform laboratory test work and analyze the metallurgical test data to draw valid conclusions.
- Creates and maintains lab documentation such as log sheets and SOPs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemistry, or related Engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of the basic principles of mineral beneficiation and methods used in metallurgical and processing analyses.
- A valid Driver’s License and a good driving record are required to drive company vehicles on the property.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with flotation (lab-scale test, pilot scale test) and other mineral processing applications such as magnetic separation and gravity separation.
- Experience with mineralogical analysis equipment such as XRF, ICP, XRD, etc.
- Ability to complete a task with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in computer skills including, but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, and statistical software.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
