We are seeking a talented professional who thrives at the intersection of data, product, business development, partnerships and go-to-market.The ideal candidate will possess superior analytical skills and the ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally. The candidate will thrive in a team-oriented environment, working cross-functionally with teams to develop new ways we can improve and increase adoption and retention of our messaging products and services (WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram Direct and remote presence)Understand the competitive landscape of messaging products and our relative position to influence product strategy and design.Working with partners to understand ecosystems, user behaviours, and long-term trends affecting messaging.Evaluate, negotiate, and close key deals that help grow the footprint of our messaging products.Demonstrate fluency in the most complex legal and business issues in contracts and develop creative win-win solutions with our partnersProvide an objective commercial viewpoint based on an in-depth understanding and analysis of commercial and competitive information.Drive multiple projects from strategy to execution with partners in a fast-paced environment in an organized wayAbility to work collaboratively under pressure, with proven experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projectsBA/BS in Business, Strategy or Management related field.7+ or more years of experience in Business Development and Partnerships.Experience delivering partnerships from inception to delivery.Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope.Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems.Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.Experience in building or managing partnerships and programs around messaging systems in a large-scale environment.Experience working with MNO, OEM and retail partners.Facebook’s mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.
