Location: Remote, preference for candidates in the DC area

Compensation: Unpaid (Volunteer)

Hours: Flexible, based on workload and organization events

Start Date: Flexible, ideally by February 2nd

Responsibilities:

As the Mentorship Program Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping and overseeing our mentorship initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Developing and implementing a comprehensive mentorship program aligned with organizational goals.
2. Building and nurturing relationships with mentors, mentees, and potential partners.
3. Coordinating mentorship activities and events, fostering a supportive and inclusive community.
4. Collaborating with the CEO to ensure sustainable and impactful mentorship models for the organization.
5. Providing strategic guidance on mentorship program development and implementation.

Qualifications:

We are seeking a dynamic individual with a proven track record in mentorship program development and a commitment to our mission. The ideal candidate will have:

1. Substantial experience in designing and managing mentorship programs, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with mentors, mentees, and stakeholders.
3. Strategic thinking and the ability to drive positive mentorship outcomes.
4. Knowledge of mentorship program development processes and best practices.
5. Familiarity with the nonprofit sector and a passion for empowering young individuals.
