MEL Consultant for Basic Early Activity for WBG

Overview

The consultant will be expected to have the skills, qualifications, experience, education and general expertise necessary to provide MEL support to Creative’s project Basic Early Education Activity (BEA) in the West Bank.

Responsibilities

TASKS TO BE PERFORMED:

Creative is seeking MEL support to Creative Basic Early activity project in West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem. The consultant will assist in drafting Activity Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Plan (AMELP)s for West Bank.

Tasks will thus include:

• Participate in planning and design meetings.
• Participate in expanding upon theories of change (TOCs) for West Bank
• Collaborate with Creative HQ staff and the project Sr. MEL Manager to develop the West Bank AMELP plan.
• Providing guidance and hands-on assistance to project Sr. MEL Manager
• Other related MEL deliverables as needed.

RESULTS AND/OR DELIVERABLES

• Produce a draft of the AMELP
• Revise and finalize AMELP based on feedback
• Indicators and performance indicator references

Qualifications

1. Advanced degree in education.
2. At least 7 years of M&E experience, preferably in education
3. Familiarity with/experience working in the Middle East, preferably West Bank.
4. Experience working on USAID projects and proposals.
