Position Summary: Levelwing Media Supervisors are self-starters that get energized by critical thinking and brainstorming with others. They are media experts with enthusiasm for creating impactful, innovative, and integrated media strategies across all platforms and channels.
Media Supervisors are senior level leaders who are passionate about understanding the ever-changing behavior of today’s consumer and educating the team they lead. They can seamlessly collaborate with other departments, including account management, analytics and creative teams, to develop integrated media strategies that achieve client goals and align with industry standards.
Minimum Skills & Requirements
- Six to eight (6-8) years of media experience (with an Agency, Ad Tech, and/or Brand)
- Two (2) years of people management experience
- Prior experience in creating media strategies, managing campaigns with multiple media channels, and reporting on performance required
- Strong client-facing experience and communication skills (presenting media plans, developing rapport, problem solving, etc.)
- Understanding of all forms of media, digital and traditional
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Ability to understand performance data and apply that to media strategy via campaign optimization recommendations
- Self-motivated, resourceful, entrepreneurial spirit bringing new ideas to the team and client partners
- Detail oriented with strong attention to detail and timely follow-through
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel
Desired Skills & Experience
- Self-service buying experience in social business managers (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.), programmatic media buying (The Trade Desk), and/or Google Ads
- Web analytics software (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
- Previous knowledge and experience in the programmatic ecosystem (DSPs, ad networks, etc.)
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and confidently present media plans that are expected to achieve client goals
- As part of the media strategy, develop a measurement plan to prove effectiveness of media against client goals
- Lead and educate the team regarding deployment of pixels/tags needed to optimize and attribute performance metrics to media (online orders, sales, revenue, leads, etc.)
- Collaborate with the team/client on creative needs, including specs and best practices, and provide direction based on historical performance and trends to the creative team
- Provide strategic leadership + guidance to a team of innovative and talented media team members, who activate campaigns in platform
- Oversee reporting of media activity and monitor KPIs (Ad Recall, Traffic, ROAS, CPA, etc.) leveraging your team to ensure optimal performance
- Translate media reporting into actionable insights, and provide campaign recaps and case studies to client and agency partners
- Stay on top of industry trends and emerging platforms that can positively impact client strategies and share with the media and client teams
- Promote an enhanced culture of innovation and testing across the media department
- Manage direct reports and oversee their performance
- Assist in the hiring and on-boarding process for future media team hires
- Serve as a positive resource and role model for all team members
- Embody flexibility + resourcefulness by having a solutions-oriented approach to challenges
