This is a Contract Role through Manpower – 11 months contract (April ��� February)Ideal candidate: Media specialist or ex agency backgroundThe CEMEA Media Director role is a contractor position that will deliver against key initiatives to fundamentally drive business growth, improve brand health, and achieve media efficiencies. The CEMEA Media Director will be joining the CEMEA Brand Marketing Team at an exciting moment of growth, as we advance our resource and capabilities to support the overall business objectives. The role will report into the CEMEA VP of Marketing. The candidate will be responsible for the following areas with a specific focus on 4 strategic initiatives. �� Manage the Client���s CEMEA Digital strategy development and deliver digital best practice to create a ���Go Beyond��� new media and digital culture�� Monitor all the new trends, tools, technologies in digital and social to identify new opportunities and recommend new strategies and solutions for more effective and efficient Business goals achievement�� Monitor existing industry digital/social marketing activities to identify new opportunities, highlight gaps and recommend strategies and solutions�� Actively support the Digital Leads in market on the effective way of using digital assets for Visa marketing and communication campaigns as well as on client marketing campaigns�� Establish core KPI metrics to be used to evaluate ongoing marketing and business performance 1) Represent CEMEA and Agency Management�� Collaborate with cross functional teams in global and CEMEA to help drive the agenda as well as advocating the great work that will bring recognition and elevation to the region�� Oversee agency management (media, digital and creative agencies) by ensuring high performance and delivery across the region that is driven by a highly motivated team�� Craft the annual agency SOW that is supported by a high performing team that will deliver against the business KPIs�� Support the agency in prioritization of tasks and ensure that they are set up for success. 2) Drive seamless campaign executions�� Partner with the local markets and agency partners to co-develop a brand and product omnichannel marketing strategies in line with the business: ensuring consistency in branding, messaging, quality of execution and user experience�� Act as a media expert that ensures the campaign strategies have a solid media approach that is executed in-market�� Drive innovation and out of the box thinking that will allow Visa to interact and engage with its customers and clients in new ways that will increase revenue�� Develop and maintain strong relationships with key platforms ��� Meta, Google, Snap, Twitter, Tealium etc. Utilizing these relationships to provide opportunities for the and its clients to drive beta-tests and new media formats 3) Drive an Audience 1st, Data and Tech Approach �� Craft an always-on audience approach in partnership with the key markets that is supported by a solid 1st / 2nd / 3rd party data approach�� Help grow user engagement and use cases through live data integration via product funnels, cohort analyses, user segmentation, retention analyses and regression models.�� Lead the development and execution of the Client���s CRM and data strategy to be used for effective communication�� Partner with key tech partners (i.e Tealium, Adobe, GA & DV360) that will enable the local markets to craft and execute audiences in real time based on the audience needs 4) Achieve Media & Digital Efficiencies �� Co-create media initiatives in partnership with sourcing and the agencies that will allow Visa to achieve annual savings and efficiencies on a regional and local market level�� Effectively report and communicate the efficiencies to key stakeholders within the business to ensure that the results are reported and allocated towards business targetsQUALITIFICATIONS �� Minimum of Bachelor’ Degree or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant marketing & media experience. �� Strong collaborator who can demonstrate success in delivering and navigating complex projects in a matrixed, distributed global organization �� Ability to operate in a hyper-growth environment�� Strategic mind-set, with exceptional clarity of thought combined with a hands-on, detailed oriented approach when needed�� Experience with all aspects of online media trends, channels and practices and expert in deploying campaigns in partnership with large advertising platforms�� Experience in leveraging 1st party audiences and Data management platforms to deploy data driven marketing campaigns�� Proficiency in developing and deploying CRM initiatives �� Strong communication and interpersonal skills, team-oriented & results-driven�� Excellent business English skills, written and spokenKey SkillsStrong leadership and influencing skillsRegional experience with market experience in MENA and Russia (ideal)Is technical and media savvy > understands how media is planned and brought, and the workings of a media agencyHas experience in working with cross functional teams and is extremely strategic in their approach and thinkingAgile and has an entrepreneurial mentality that is open to driving change
