General Description of the Organization:

Ghiras Al-Nahda is a Nonprofit Non-governmental humanitarian organization working to empower people through fulfilling their basic needs and seeking to improve community stability and resilience.

Job purpose:

This role sits within the media team with close coordination with Media, Advocacy and communication Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:

1- Media coverage of all Ghiras Al-Nahda activities ( Projects and campaigns) with photos and videos.

2- Preparing and implementing (humanitarian cases, interviews, advocacy videos and success stories) starting with writing the script, filming, and video editing.

3- coordinating and planning for all media activities with the line manager and field staff.

4- Archiving and storing media materials.

5- Preserve the visual identity of the organization.

6- Making all media products according to the specified technical requirements in the media department.

Experience and Qualifications:

1- At least 3 years of Experience working as a photographer and video editor in humanitarian contexts.

2- Excellent experience in photography and video and strong knowledge of types of shots.

3- Have the basic equipment necessary for media work (camera – laptop).

4- To have a highly creative and artistic vision in video editing.

5- Excellent experience working in the following programs: Adobe Premiere – Adobe After effects – Adobe Photoshop

6- Good knowledge of MS applications (Microsoft team-One drive-Excel-Word)

7- The ability to create distinctive media ideas to display the activities of Ghiras Al-Nahda

8- Excellent experience in archiving, and storing media materials.

9- Interpersonal communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
