The position is to be filled as of April 1, 2023, with an unlimited contract duration. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany.

As Measuring Success Advisor, you will pursue the goal of strengthening Welthungerhilfe as an impact-oriented and accountable learning organization. Your goals are to measure Welthungerhilfe’s organizational success, report and communicate on the success and to promote organizational learning.

Your responsibilities

  • Contribute significantly to the strategic development of the Measuring Success topic
  • Manage and further develop data collection, data analysis, and reporting formats for measuring and reflecting on project success at the outcome level, in coordination with MEAL teams, country offices, and technical advisors
  • Implementation planning and support for anchoring Measuring Success data collection and learning processes at the project, country, regional, and organizational levels
  • Capacity development and other quality improvement activities in collaboration with country offices, including MEAL experts
  • Contribute to the further development of data systems for aggregating, processing, and analyzing Measuring Success data at the overall organization level
  • Independently analyze Measuring Success data from projects and globally report results and derive overarching insights in close coordination with country offices
  • Advise colleagues on how to use Measuring Success data for learning and increasing the accountability of the organization

Your profile

  • A university or polytechnic degree in a relevant subject area
  • 3-5 years job related experience in designing and maintaining global MEAL reporting and data aggregation systems
  • Experience in planning and advising on quantitative survey data collection processes at project, country and global level
  • Experience in planning and advising on learning processes at project, country and global level, based on quantitative and qualitative MEAL data
  • Quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills
  • Strong advisory competences in MEAL settings
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken English, knowledge of French is an asset
