Job Overview:

The IRC’s Resettlement, Asylum, & Integration (RAI) department works to create opportunities for refugees and other vulnerable migrants to survive and thrive in the U.S. and Europe through a diverse portfolio of programs aimed at five core outcomes: Health, Safety, Economic Wellbeing, Education and Power. The Measurement Administrative Assistant will work to support the Research, Analysis, and Learning Unit’s measurement and information systems teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Support administration of measurement data collection tools across RAI network
  • Provide technical and logistical support for meetings, communities of practice, and trainings
  • Provide administrative and logical support for client engagement working groups
  • Manage contracts and contractor relationships, including preparation of consultant and vendor agreements, coordinating with Global Supply Chain and/or Human Resources, and creating purchase requisitions in Integra
  • Provide logistical support with travel bookings and reimbursement
  • Manage the purchasing and tracking of project expenses within the IRC’s Integra system (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
  • Support knowledge management projects such as updating and maintaining intranet pages (RescueNet) and organizing documents in content cloud (Box)
  • Provide administrative support for team communications such as newsletters
  • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (relevant experience may substitute for degree).
  • Experience and/or coursework in knowledge/data management
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision
  • Excellent, demonstrated skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
