Job Summary

Responsible for focusing primarily on analyzing demographic, market share, internal patient data, CRM data, web analytics, and market research reports to develop and execute strategic marketing plans that drive Nicklaus Children’s Health System (NCHS) short-term and long-term objectives. Leads the analysis of the data and provides insight, guidance, and recommendations to decision makers in Marketing and Public Relations.

Minimum Job Requirements

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assesses market trends, analyzes risks, opportunities, and competitive positioning in target market.
  • Develops reports and dashboards for branding, marketing, and PR, securing return on investment (ROI) to key initiatives.
  • Leverages data to recommend marketing initiatives as part of annual marketing plan and budget.
  • Collaborates with department staff and business intelligence to achieve greater standardization and consistency in the development of quantitative analyses.
  • Conduct external, internal, and service line assessments/projections.
  • Provide recommendations to leadership regarding a wide range of strategic initiatives related to Marketing.
  • Assess advertising campaigns, direct consumer marketing, and new business segments opportunities.
  • Work with the leadership team to define and build key marketing dashboards and metrics that measure marketing effectiveness and contribution to revenue
  • Track key marketing metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement, as well as, manage a target setting and marketing investment model.
  • Drive conversations around technology and data strategy needed to support marketing’s analytics and data segmentation needs.
  • Develop member segmentation plans to enable more targeted CRM campaigns.
  • Provide analytical support in design, implementation, and measurement of strategies. Collaborating with external advertising agencies.
  • Plan, design, execute & manage qualitative/quantitative market research projects. Conduct research online using industry research software to design survey, analyze data & report results.
  • Collect and analyze data on competitors’ tactics, market conditions, and consumer demographics. Research customers’ opinions, habits, preferences, and wants/needs.
  • Monitor and forecast marketing trends; highlight opportunities for new initiatives and promotions.
  • Convert complex data findings into text, tables, graphs, and data visualizations management for Leader presentations.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in business development or corporate finance in pediatrics healthcare industry in preferred.
  • Strong computer applications and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated financial and analytical proficiency including forecasts, projections, and pro formas.
  • Ability to assess complex situations, develop actionable plans & successfully execute under stressful conditions.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects concurrently and ensuring they remain on track and on budget.
  • Able to engage cooperatively and constructively with co-workers, medical staff, and senior leadership.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of ICD9, CPT, DRG, and other coding/reimbursement schedules.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Access, AS400, Google Analytics, and other healthcare related systems.
