We are looking for a Marketing production associate/manager with German language skills.

To coordinate and deliver multifaceted, multi-media, cross-channel marketing and communications materials that support the marketing and business plans of Vanguard Europe, including direct to consumer and intermediated channels in the UK and Europe.

The coordinator will work with the manager to ensure the timely delivery and quality of print, electronic, web, and audio/visual communication materials.

Can be based in London, Frankfurt or Berlin.

In this role you will

  • Support the day-to-day delivery of marketing materials to ensure that they are on time, meet quality standards, align with brand guidelines, are created within budget, and meet business objectives.
  • In partnership with channel manager, editorial and product marketing, ensures that marketing materials are deployed using accurate, consistent, compelling and benefit-oriented internal and external communications.
  • Ensures that communication materials create a seamless client experience that incorporates all touch points including mobile and desktop web sites, fund materials, marketing collateral, sales support materials, and others.
  • Works collaboratively with various groups within the organization to achieve goals. May also be required to work with outside vendors including creative agencies, advertising agencies, PR agencies, media planners, etc.
  • Partners within marketing and across the business to identify and roll out strategies and timelines to support products, services, and thought leadership initiatives (ex, PRD, ISG).
  • Supports the marketing production manager with managing content expiration dates, compliance submissions and weekly reporting and tracking metrics for success.
  • Establishes a deep knowledge of Vanguard’s UK/European product offerings and capabilities, with a clear understanding of the points of differentiation relative to competitive offerings.
  • Leads and/or participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

What It Takes

  • Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent combination of training and experience; graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum two years related work experience, including experience related to project management, development of marketing strategies and campaigns, client reporting, RFP, sales support and/or marketing production.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, particularly in an environment that crosses functional areas or departments.
  • Industry knowledge and willingness to embrace and learn regional marketing rules.
  • Demonstrated focus on client needs and client communications with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills. Fluency in both English and German is required.

Future of Work

During the pandemic, we transitioned to a work from home model for the majority of our crew and we continue to interview, hire, and on-board future crew remotely.
