Primary Goals/Objectives

  • Leading the development of marketing strategy, business plan & execution of marketing strategy of Infectious Disease Rapid Diagnostics Portfolios, in line with commercial team’s sales execution
  • Be overall accountable for the management and development of strategic & practical New Product Launch Initiatives

Major Responsibilities

  • Develop, build, manage and execute strategic marketing plan of Infectious Disease Rapid Diagnostics Portfolios
  • Establish and build brand awareness of Abbott Rapid Diagnostics ID products in FLOW and RTW market
  • Conduct sales analysis and handle budget planning activities
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis
  • Assist in coordinating product training for HCPs and sales reps
  • Ensure complaints and needs of key account are addressed
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders, with higher levels of planning and process excellence to support cross-functional working amongst Sales, Marketing and Sales Operations, in any product management projects
  • Interface – Acts as the interface between Regional marketing team and affiliate/local sales & marketing teams on a regular basis in order to support business opportunities and exchange ideas with local commercial team. Creates enthusiasm at the affiliate level for new product launches opportunities and assists in the successful development and implementation of corresponding strategies. Monitors progress and achievements. Creates synergies whenever possible

Accountability/Scope

Responsible for achieving goals. This position ensures providing clinical support assigned marketing and sales activities through troubleshooting, product training, implementing with knowledge.

  • Product/Portfolios Sales Data Analysis (Revenue, Product Margin)
  • Pricing analysis based on market/competitors’ intelligence
  • Customer Segmentations and market potential, TAM analysis
  • Product/Portfolios mid/long term business planning
  • Customer Demands Planning as per relevant Product/Portfolios
  • Plan/Prepare : Product/Technical/Clinical Application information / Marketing/Promotional Materials, by working together with regional marketing team
  • Product Training & Demonstration for Customers
  • Accountable for customer complaints management for relevant products/portfolios as marketing manager
  • Build Overall New Product Launch Plan (Go-to-Market) and execution
  • Trainer – Trainee : Actively Participate APAC/Global regional marketing training program/forum and do share with local country commercial team as Trainer

LEADERSHIP/TALENT

  • Must be self-motivated
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills required
  • Proven track record in Sales & Marketing preferred
  • Strong communication, verbal, and written skills a must

Educations

  • Minimum education required: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Preferred Majors : Biological/Chemical, Lab Technology, Nurse
  • Excellence in communication and documentation
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English.

Background

  • More than 5 – 10 years of experience in diagnostics or related medical devices industry
  • Have a working knowledge of relate to the diagnostics industry.
  • Able to work effectively independently and within cross-functional team environment
  • A proven ability to develop and execute complex strategic business plans and budgets.
  • Strong analytical and business intelligence skills in respect to gaining and interpreting customer insights.
  • An established track record of creativity, innovation, and measured risk-taking.
  • A history of developing relationships with distributors, customers and internal key stakeholders.
