MARKETING COORDINATOR – COLOMBIA.
Location: Remote, Colombia.
Contract Type : Fixed term6-month contract
Salary Level: 5 COP $5´280.000 Pesos M/CTE.
The Position
Are you early in your marketing career and ready to grow your skills in a small and ambitious organization? Do you have a passion for social impact and learning from innovative startups? We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to expand our brand awareness by supporting the management and tracking of our digital channels and event presence, producing short pieces of content, and supporting marketing analytics to boost our growth in this area.
The ideal candidate will be highly-proactive, quick to learn, and have strong attention to detail. This person will be adept at managing multiple digital platforms and enjoy a range of tasks as well as having a strong interest in the social impact and investing sector in Latin America, helping us reach new audiences in this region.
Essential Responsibilities
Support the creation of digital content
- Assist in the writing of social media posts for Twitter and LinkedIn
- Schedule social media posts using the Hootsuite platform
- Support the production of Twitter Space episodes
- Assist in the creation of graphics for social media posts
- Build and test newsletter content within the Mailchimp platform
- Build blogs within the Medium platform
Update and manage marketing tracking dashboards and brand materials
- Collate analytics from across all digital platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Mailchimp, Medium, and others) and identify trends
- Track media engagements
- Coordinate and manage the events dashboard, liaising with relevant team members and event partners
- Support in updating internal brand materials for the wider team
Identify creative ways to reach new audiences
- Support on the design of marketing campaigns to reach new audiences
- Identify creative opportunities and marketing tactics to expand our audience reach in Latam
- Conduct research on all relevant platforms in the Latam region
- Provide other marketing support and thought partnership for the Head of Communications
- Support the drafting and reviewing of short blogs and articles
- Support the translation of short pieces of written content from English to Spanish

Minimum Qualification & Transferable Skills
- Minimum 4 years experience working in a similar position
- Studies in marketing(technical and/or professional studies)
- Fluent in English with excellent written English
- Proficiency in a minimum of 3 of the following platforms: Twitter, LinkedIn, Medium, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Canva
- Advanced work-related computer skills and familiarity with collaborative online systems (Google Drive suite preferred – Docs, Sheets, and Slides)
- Proven interest in the social impact and/or investing & startup ecosystem in Latin America
Success Factors
The ideal candidate must:
- Be highly proactive. This is crucial given the remote nature of the role
- Have excellent organization, collaboration, and communication skills
- Have strong attention to detail to ensure external content is produced to the highest standard and all analytics and tracking are completed accurately
- Be quick to learn and absorb guidelines and processes (such as brand guidelines and tone-of-voice)
- Excited to grow their marketing skills and take initiative on new ideas
