Mid-Atlantic Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development
The Marketing Communications Intern assists with the marketing and communications of the Mid-Atlantic Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development (MASHSMD) chapter of the national Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development (SHSMD). The position’s duties include assisting with email preparations, website updates, social media communications, content, and virtual events.

Awardee to be notified no later than March 1, 2023
Internship commitment: 2-3 virtual hours per week: May 23 – August 18, 2023 (estimate)*
In addition to the opportunity to work closely with top healthcare industry marketing leaders, the student is also awarded a $1,000 stipend to use for their college or university tuition payment, books, or other school supplies.
Eligibility requirements and scholarship guidelines:
- Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student attending an accredited college or university in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or Washington, D.C.
- Applicant must be pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related course of study (i.e., business, advertising, public relations, market research, strategic planning, fundraising, etc.)
- Applicant must be scheduled to graduate no sooner than May 2024
- No applicant shall receive the MASHSMD Student Scholarship Award more than once
- All applicants must complete and submit the application and essay prior to the posted deadline
