Summary

The Marketing Technologist is responsible for the day to day operations of digital marketing campaigns and programs that are running on the marketing technology stack, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, incentive automation, and other marketing campaign tools. This position will design and recommend data targeting and technical solutions for digital programs and incentives while working closely with Digital Marketing and Marketing Strategists to define requirements and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all responsibilities in accordance with BECU Competencies, compliance, regulatory and Information Protection requirements.
  • Manage the operations related to automated marketing programs, incentive fulfillment, and overall marketing technology used to realize incentive programs, automated email programs, triggered messages, online banking messages, and internal staff messages.
  • Partner with Digital Marketing team to define list selection criteria for campaign and incentive targets.
  • Build data queries and create reports containing the list of members to be targeted with campaigns and/or incentives. Quality check and validate targeting data within the data warehouse.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholder groups to develop and maintain tools to delivery digital messaging and incentives in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, internal campaign tools, and data warehouse.
  • Resolve concerns on significant matters. Devise creative and effective solutions. Propose and collaborate on technology and product updates.
  • Monitor, track, analyze, and report on performance, provide key findings to key stakeholders and utilize the results to refine and improve future campaigns and operations.
  • Support marketing automation systems in production, including: working with internal and external technical support to troubleshoot issues, coordinating releases, identifying and recommending enhancements.
  • Manage quality assurance process to prevent errors including running tests, auditing incentive data plans, checking marketing data lists for campaign and program launches, and overseeing the send volumes are at acceptable levels.
  • Perform additional duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, computer related sciences, or equivalent work or educational experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing managing digital marketing automations and marketing technology stacks required. Previous role held at a financial institution preferred.
  • Experience managing journey programs through at least one leading email marketing service provider required.
  • Demonstrated experience extracting data from large databases required.
  • Demonstrated high proficiency in data analytics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Proficient verbal and written skills to effectively communicate in the English language.
  • Exceptional planning and project management skills.
  • Full-time hours required, with additional hours as necessary.
