Dot Dot Dot is a social enterprise which allows people who do brilliant voluntary work to live in buildings that would otherwise be empty. We provide good, inexpensive temporary housing to people who make a difference, we protect buildings for their owners, and we contribute to communities. Everyone wins.
We’re hiring
We are looking for someone brilliant to join our marketing team as a marketing assistant. You will support the execution of our marketing activities to help Dot Dot Dot increase our pool of potential guardians and increase our profile with all kinds of property owners who want to use our service.
About you
This role will suit someone who is both creative and diligent, able to use a variety of platforms to educate, excite and engage people about both guardianship and Dot Dot Dot, and who wants to use those talents for social good.
You’re likely to be able to demonstrate experience of, or aptitude for, much of the following:
- Your interest in and commitment to our mission and values as an organisation.
- Experience of one or more of marketing, communications and sales and a desire to improve your knowledge and skills in these areas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to write for different audiences.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Flexibility in approach and good at dealing with a diverse range of projects.
- Friendly, approachable and professional attitude.
- Solid problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work as a team, with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Ability to self-motivate, to manage your own time and to work on your own initiative.
You may also have:
- Experience in the housing or commercial property sector or its supporting network.
- Experience working with creative marketing agencies or media agencies.
- Experience of using website content management systems, as well as email marketing tools, event booking platforms and customer relationship management tools e.g. Salesforce, and Adobe Indesign/Illustrator.
