Purpose/objective of the position:

 

The consultants’ main role will be to identify and train girls and women (about 60 beneficiaries in total including women and girls (so approximately 10 persons per one month and 15 days) in the shelter of Erbil and Sulaymaniyah. The training would serve the beneficiaries to develop competencies in marketing management, applying practical advises, it will give them skills to be integrated in apprenticeships or jobs in customer services areas with the skills and qualifications necessary to assist professional and may link them later on to open their own business in future. 

 

BACKGROUND: The rationale behind this consultancy is to train beneficiaries (Refugees, IDPs and host community) to provide them with practices which could support them in finding jobs and creating in demands skills. There will be a division between each group (8 to 10 persons maximum per group).

The aim of this assignment is to improve the overall technical level of the beneficiaries in order to promote the development of a learning environment with necessary marketing and customer services for job insertion for girls and women in particular in those areas of business.

Generic Duties:

  • Prepare training workplan
  • Prepare technical materials outlines to support beneficiaries.
  • Submit the final workplan and complete training materials to line manager.
  • Provide training to 5 to 10 beneficiaries marketing business and methods of dealing with customers.
  • Include digital marketing tools (social media management, strategy, engagement, and online community management).
  • Tracking social media statistics and using promoted posts.
  • Train beneficiaries on how to create a company profile in Kurdish or Arabic language.
  • Each participant will produce their own developed marketing mix strategy with actionable steps.
  • Each participant will produce their own company profile document.
  • Trainer to submit report including final actual workplan – Technical materials, assessments, and lessons learned.

Specific Duties:

  • Work experience as a Customer Service Trainer or similar role
  • Experience in sales or customer service positions is a plus
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Software (LMS)
  • Familiarity with interactive learning activities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

 


Qualifications & Preferred Skills

 

Person Specification:

Education and professional experience:

  • University degree or education in Business Administration, Marketing, or other relevant fields.
  • Excellent Kurdish and Arabic (reading, writing, and speaking) Ability to provide training in both languages.
  • Proven experience in marketing and/ or marketing training.
  • Excellent presentation and reporting skills.
  • Preparation of documents during training sessions (attendance sheet, pre- post test, …. etc.)
