The Marketing Analyst plays a key role in providing customer and market information to drive marketing strategy and product development. The position requires the candidate to be skilled in measurement and analysis of marketing campaigns, A/B testing and customer behaviors. The candidate needs to have experience in analyzing large datasets, preferably have experience in video streaming data analytics. The candidate also needs to have ability to leverage data to spot patterns, trends and communicate findings clearly with stake holders. The candidate will work in a highly data driven environment and needs to be extremely proactive with a focus on bringing actionable insights to the business. This position will be 100% remote

 Primary responsibilities

  • Analyze marketing campaigns and provide insights to help improve campaign performance in the direct, and subscription business
  • Conduct customer purchase and viewing behavior analysis to answer key business questions
  • Build reports and dashboards on key company initiatives and offer insights that improve the business from those reporting views
  • Assist in the design, set up and execution of A/B testing to optimize the customer experience and maximize revenue
  • Assist in summarizing the test results and distributing the reports to the wider Marketing Group for ongoing testing efforts
  • Manipulate large datasets and provide data to various stake holders
  • Communicate and present insights and findings with team members, in meetings, etc.
  • Quickly respond to ad hoc analytic requests common in this dynamic, fast paced, data driven environment
  • Support various marketing efforts and organization initiatives

 Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with focus on quantitative analysis (e.g. Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering)
  • 1-3 years of experience in SQL
  • 1-3 years of experience in Tableau
  • Familiar with MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment

 Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experienced in video streaming data analytics is a plus
  • Experienced in marketing analytics
  • 3-5 years of experience in SQL
  • 3-5 years of experience in Tableau
  • 1-3 years of experience in R/Python
