In this role you will support the regional focused Market Development team and LSU teams by focusing on defining and implementing marketing and sales strategies specifically aimed at developing market demand for ABB Power Protection solutions specifically in the Data Center space. You will lead the mapping and development of Data Center accounts and influencers in the region, and coordinate with other regions.

Locations: Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Taiwan

Your responsibilities

  • Contributing to local Business Unit/Product Group strategy definition and execution through the analysis and identification of new markets, segments and/or product solutions.
  • Analyzing customer needs for the portfolio, securing customer advantages and benefits as well as white spot analysis and connected strategies to pen-etrate the market.
  • Developing and implementing business strategies for newly defined areas in alignment with the Business Unit/Product Group strategy.
  • Providing market intelligence analysis in support of identification and development of new markets, segments or solutions.
  • Identifying , leading or contributing to identification and acquisition opportunities to expand into the newly defined area.
  • Coordinating product marketing launch development plans and ensures efficient and effective execution together with the Area and Regional Manager.
  • Identifies partnership opportunities and participates in the definition of partnerships agreements together with local Business Unit.
  • Participates in planning and implementation of customer events and trade shows.

Your background

  • 8+ years’ experience in providing solutions and knowledge towards data center industry professionals.
  • Engineering and/or electrical trade-based education with additional learning and/or experience in technical sales and business development including export and cross border business considerations.
  • IT/computer literate as required for typical technical business role in present times.
  • Passion for business growth and problem solving.
