You would also be responsible for building the relations, manage negotiations and provide key products value proposition support to stakeholders/payers and institutional administrative.
The position reports directly to the Market Access, Policy & Communication Director.
The primary activities include but are not limited to
- Development and implementation of reimbursement strategies for key therapeutic areas oncology / vaccines
- Identifying key stakeholders/payers in the market and establishes relationship with key influencers and decision makers to facilitate broader market access (focus HICs, payers)
- Fostering trust – based working relationships with key national payers and stakeholders to facilitate bringing new medicines/projects consistently and efficiently to market
- Developing and supporting tailored pricing models and contracts based on therapeutic area according to business needs
- Working with institutional or national budget holders providing advise and support about financial efficiency and Global Outcome Data
- Assisting in the development of product specific value based propositions and communication tools
- Working with headquarters and affiliate brand personnel, headquarters and affiliate finance personnel and headquarters and affiliate pricing and reimbursement personnel
- Development of added value proposition and their communication to NGO’s, POs, Payers, stakeholders, decision makers and main actors in reimbursement process
- Monitoring & reporting on competitive pricing actions and decisions, reimbursement coverage and key competitive products
- Monitoring the literature in relation to Health Economic publications that may have positive or negative implications for our company current and future products
- Being aware of and work within company policies (Finance & HR) and industry guidelines (AIFP) and apply our values in daily activities
- Planning for access initiatives in country operations
- Partnership and cross collaboration activities with academic institutions and HTA agencies
- Active participation in Health related debates and HTA shaping
Major Activities and responsibilities
Market Access Landscape
- Identifying Market Access barriers and opportunities along a specific therapeutic area (center based, hospital and retail setting)
- Development and implementation of Market Access strategies to improve and ensure patient access to treatments
- Implementation of national and regional pricing and reimbursement strategies
Pricing Reviews and submissions
- Pricing approval submissions to the related agencies / institutions
- Supporting country price change requests
