Manager Technical Sales Specialists, AAT, EMEA

Location: Europe remote

You as a Manager Technical Sales Specialist, AAT / TEA are responsible for provides strategic and operational leadership to team of Technical Sales Specialists (TSS) e for the Applied Analytical Technologies (AAT) TEA products in the EMEA region to ensure that CMD growth targets are met across all markets and product lines. Ensures that teams operate within regional goal trees in areas of booking/revenue growth, sales process optimization, BU partnership, funnel development and employee development.

Your responsibilities:

  • Direct management of Team of Industrial AAT Technical Sales Specialists across the EMEA region
  • Achieve above AOP growth for the relevant product lines in EMEA.
  • Provide strategic mentorship, operational support and collaboration with regional sales managers to enable growth and market share gain for AAT products.
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership aligned with Goal Trees. Handle action plans to build and maintain core business processes and procedures, crafted to increase customer happiness.
  • Collaborate with all Thermo Fisher teams and drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise territory and product mix performance (KPI’s) and implement corrective / growth measures where vital.
  • Uses all sales key performance indicators to drive specific initiatives and to support feedback and/or recommendations to business partners
  • Analyses team territory and prioritizes team activities to drive maximum results
  • Leads all aspects of team pipelines to ensure accuracy, timeliness and provide strong business signal
  • Describes and guides sales processes for successful sales strategy execution
  • Drives standard processes on opportunities management amongst the team to produce desired behaviors
  • Provides improvement suggestions to sales operations to minimize use of off-line reporting tools
  • Builds an adaptable team that supervise to customer needs and act quickly to resolve customer issues
  • Actively mentors teams on how to interact and succeed with customers and how to turn a negative experience into future opportunities

Your Qualifications:

  • MS degree in science based fields
  • More than 5 years experience in dynamic commercial business required
  • People leadership experience, to include handling within a matrixed environment with the ability to encourage, influence and lead others
  • Mentoring and developing skills
  • Confirmed commitment to the customer
  • Ability to build and maintain processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
  • Familiarity with commercial sales and marketing tools
  • Sophisticated PC skills
  • Ability to generate and maintain information to provide feedback on performance
  • Experience to plan & prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. For this position we provide a minimum salary of € 71.000 (based on the Austrian salary level) per year. Payment is possible based on your previous experience and qualifications and your location.
