How you’ll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

The Manager of IFS Employee Engagement will be responsible for the implementation of strategic and tactical programs and initiatives to support IFS Employee Engagement strategy across the division including 14 IFS bases and the General Offices.

  • Responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating strategies and initiatives focused on improving employee engagement and the flight attendant experience
  • Ability to translate big picture strategies and engagement related trends into actions
  • Plan and execute employee activities and events (in person and virtual) for both frontline and merit employees
  • Collaborates and coordinates with cross-divisional peers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on broad corporate wide and divisional engagement and recognition initiatives
  • Ability to effectively leverage internal and external partnerships to drive results
  • Must be a champion of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives

What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications)

  • Candidate must have proven leadership skills and processes for communicating corporate and division policy and procedures
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple priorities, in a high stress environment, in a timely manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team approach to initiatives
  • Proficient problem solving, strategic thinking and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel up to XX% of the time to support engagement related initiatives
  • Must be highly proficient in written and oral communications and able to produce concise, relevant, strategically driven documents and presentations for senior leaders
  • Must be able to problem solve and effectively navigate roadblocks as needed
  • Must be performing satisfactorily in current position
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
  • Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority
  • Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (preferred Qualifications)

  • College degree preferred
  • Experience in event planning
  • Three years of In-Flight Service or Delta experience
  • Two or more years of People Management experience
