The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an unlimited contract duration. Employment location can be both Bonn or Berlin, Germany.
Our goal #zerohunger can only be achieved with many partners & supporters. Foundations make an important financial contribution to this. As Manager Foundations, your goal is to optimally support two of Welthungerhilfe’s largest partners in this area and to further develop the joint project work with them.
Your responsibilities
As Manager Foundations you will
- build a personal relationship and a strong bond between the partners and Welthungerhilfe
- develop concepts for the further development of partner relationships
- prepare and conduct meetings with the partners
- support the partners in their public relations work
- act as an interface to colleagues in the various Country Offices, promote exchange and create synergies within the program portfolio
- work closely with the partners, our offices in our project countries and the technical departments on the further development of the project design, especially in the field of WASH (Water, Sanitation, Hygiene)
- prepare project proposals and progress reports
- negotiate cooperation agreements
Your profile
- A university or polytechnic degree or a comparable qualification
- Previous professional experience in a foundation or NGO, e.g. in marketing or sales
- Independent, proactive working style
- Strong communication skills and intercultural competence
- Joy of working in a team and networking beyond one’s own colleagues
- Excellent spoken and written English and German language skills
