ROLE PROFILE:
Position: Manager, Decision Support
Reports to: Senior Manager, Investments
Location: Markham, Ontario/Remote

As part of Corporate Services team, our Decision Support team that will provide non-financial data (e.g. quality, compliance, human resources metrics) to the business to support with high-quality decision-making. The Manager, Decision Support role demonstrates our commitment to the Team Member Experience by championing the use of data to drive business insights that will strengthen Sienna’s quality, productivity, efficiency, client service and financial results. The position provides strategic and technical leadership in identifying, solving and implementing data management solutions that enables analytics within the team and supports Sienna’s strategic plan.
The Manager, Decision Support is a self-starter with an engaging leadership style, and solid influencing and facilitation skills, who will quickly develop relationships across the organization, to gain full benefit from Sienna’s collaborative working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Leads in a consultative role and acts as a thought partner to provide value to the organization through proactive value-added insights by advancing our data models, analysis, visualizations and interpretation of insights for Operations and Senior Leadership Team
- Leads, develops, coaches and manages a small team of data professionals to advance the Decision Support strategic roadmap and ensure consistent and effective delivery of support to key business partners
- Collaborates with key business partners (HR, Procurement, Finance, Operations, Information Technology) and peers to identify new data sources to incorporate into various analysis, as well as innovative analytical/statistical techniques that will generate new insights
- Pivot and reprioritize resources to maintain continuous alignment with the organization as business objectives, opportunities and demands change
- Identify areas of opportunity with respect to routine to increase efficiency and reduce manual work
- Supports the development of the data architecture for reporting across Sienna
- Implement best practices and perform other duties as assigned

Must haves:
- University degree with background in accounting
- Minimum of five years of financial experience and business analysis
- Exceptional problem solving, strategic and critical thinking skills
- Strong project management skills and advanced Excel skills
- Ability to analyze data and present complex information and recommendations in an easy to understand manner
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a complex, fast paced environment
- Demonstrated attention to detail in day-to-day work with a focus on quality of work, accuracy and service
