The candidate we are seeking will be supporting Finance Team across a spectrum of functions including Accounting, Reporting and Legal entity controls. Specifically, the individual will be fully/partially responsible for:

  • Prepare and post whole suite of accounting journals such as Investments, Expense accruals, Tax accrual, Amortization etc. during month end
  • Review and clear control account balances
  • Prepare Profit and Loss account and Balance sheet trend analysis during month end
  • Perform inter-company (IC) break checks
  • Perform IC transaction analysis and process IC settlements
  • Prepare Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Reconciliations and regional bank reconciliations
  • Prepare weekly Profit and Loss forecasts for senior management
  • Prepare board packs materials for senior management
  • Perform FX hedging for the APAC and EMEA region
  • Prepare funding requests for currencies
  • Involved in APAC Treasury projects, testing and implementation
  • Assist in preparation of regulatory and statutory returns
  • Assist in Preparation and finalization of ARM and DRPs on quarterly basis
  • Assist stakeholders during Annual Audits. Tax Audits with samples and backups

Desired Candidate Profile:

CA Graduate experience in Accounting and Finance function at a multinational corporation. Ideally, would also possess exposure to or knowledge of-

Mandate- CA Freshers or having 1 year of experience post qualifying CA to apply.

  • Accounting/audit functions
  • Middle/back office operations (preferred but not compulsory)
  • Experience in working with legal entity controls function
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. Powerpoint, SmartView
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail and control minded
  • Has a growth mindset and seeks continual improvements
  • Quick learner, able to prioritize and multitask where required
  • Ability to work in a fast paced/demanding environment
  • Eager to learn, takes initiative and must operate with the highest level of integrity
  • Ability to think beyond current tasks and access impact, risks, and results
  • Critical thinker and able to challenge status quo
  • Task and result oriented, organized and to follow up actively on open issues, tasks
  • Ability to work in lean teams and on multiple deliverables within the day
  • Treasury background is preferred but not a must
