About The Role

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is a home based role, where there is no daily requirement to attend an office with the flexibility to attend as and when required. The role includes compulsory anchor days min 2 per month) and a requirement to attend ad-hoc meetings in office.

The purpose of the role will be responsible for assisting the Senior Management Accountant in providing a wide range of financial services including monthly management reporting, performance reports, statutory reports and budget production.

Responsibilities Will Include

Accounting

  • Assist in the preparation of annual statutory financial accounts for all legal entities and Group including supporting schedules within agreed deadlines and in accordance with relevant Accounting Standards and Support on Variance Analysis. Be involved in ad hoc project work.

Reporting

  • Assist the Senior Management Accountant to deliver a management information reporting service to a high standard, complete monthly reconciliations all within prescribed timescales reporting monthly financial performance for the Group and its regions.

Customer Service

  • Working with the Systems Manager to create and develop management information reports which aide Business Partner teams in supporting budget holders effectively manage and monitor their budgets.

Linking

  • Assist in providing a link between the analysis of data and other teams. Provide data assurance to ensure that information decisions are made at the right level.

Essential

The successful candidate will have:

  • Significant experience of working in finance
  • Association of Accounting Technician Qualified or CCAB part qualified or equivalent
  • Intermediate to Advanced IT skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload
  • Enthusiastic and action oriented
  • Committed to team working
  • A Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own car

Desirable

  • Experience in the housing sector
