We are seeking resumes for a Maintenance Industrial Mechanic (Electrician) in our Winter Haven, FL Plant.

Pay Rate: $21.54 – $30.75 per hour based on assessment testing ($32.31 – $46.13 per hour, overtime pay rate for hours worked more than 8 hours per day)
Shifts: 2 nd Shift: 3PM to 11PM & 3 rd Shift: 11PM to 7AM
PCA provides paid training to help technicians advance through the progressive skill levels and achieve higher pay.
Technicians supply their own basic hand tools. PCA provides a tool allowance to help technicians maintain basic hand tools. PCA provides all special and heavy tools.
Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining all converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime. We use automation for some of our industrial processes, so you should feel comfortable interpreting PLC ladder logic programs.
Responsibilities
Installing and programming electrical equipment.
Draw schematics to indicate where the wiring and components are installed, then measure, cut, and install wiring and conduit systems according to specifications
Performing preventative maintenance inspections and PFC tests
Measure, cut, and install wiring and conduit systems
Install and program electrical equipment
Follow electrical blueprints and schematics
Troubleshoot or replace electrical components as needed
Perform preventative maintenance inspections
Interpret PLC ladder logic programs
Follow local, state, and national electric codes
Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on all plant manufacturing and support equipment.
Work as part of a team in a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.
Maintain a clean and safe workplace
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate
Previous experience in an industrial environment
Experience using hand tools
Electrical experience, AC and DC.
Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical drawings.
Proven track record of strong electrical troubleshooting.
Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
Must be able to stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, stoop, and bend.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of a trade school or training program
State journeyman license preferred
5+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience with PLC’s, conveyors, controls, and Operating Systems.
