Our Internship Program

Our summer internship program lasts 10-12 weeks beginning in May/June and ending in August/September. Your Opportunity

The Enterprise Architecture team at Teradata has an opening for an Architect Intern; you are expected to contribute to the design, development, and validation of the macro reference architecture for Teradata’s product family.

Your Business Objectives would include

• Research and understand the subsystems of the Teradata product family and their interrelationships
• Interview key stakeholders to complete and validate your understanding of how Teradata is architected
• Represent these relationships in easily understood and consumable forms- text, visualization, infographic, etc.
• Have a spirit of collaboration and transparent communication
• Display a natural curiosity for frameworks and technologies
• Demonstrate “big picture” thinking – the ability to intuit the larger relationships among the component parts of a whole
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, oral and written

Your Experience, Skills, And Knowledge Requirements

• Top-notch programming skills in Python, Java, or other relevant languages; some SQL preferred
• Passionate, self-motivated, risk taker, proactive, initiative taker, good communicator (both written and verbal), creative, and team-oriented
• Familiarity with database and cloud technologies
• Some experience using Agile software development methods and tools

Basic Qualifications/Requirements

• Must be enrolled in BS/MS/PhD degree program. With graduation dates between December 2023-June 2025.
