Job Description

On behalf of Dacke Industri AB, Michael Page is recruiting for an Analyst to help Dacke Industri in their continued growth. If you have a passion for technology and investments within Northern Europe, then we encourage you to continue reading. This is a permanent position with a 6-month probation period.

Some Of The Typical Tasks You Can Initially Expect Will Include (but Will Not Be Limited To)

Working directly with the VP of Acquisitions and Business Development, your role will be centred around the entire M&A process, mostly from the buy-side – managing projects from target screening through to deal completion and integration.

  • Researching & evaluating potential investment opportunities, initiating contacts with relevant parties.
  • Mapping the competitor and industry landscape
  • Conducting valuation, financial analysis and financial modelling
  • Providing support in structuring, negotiating and executing investments
  • Supporting in due diligence work streams (legal, financial, technical)
  • Providing support in the analysis and follow up of KPI’s
  • Providing support to the Cluster Directors or CEO’s of Dacke Industri’ subsidiaries
  • Personal development
  • Completing documentation and presentations regarding investment opportunities to the Board of Directors – the presentation thereof as well.

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for someone that has a passion for technology, through investments in innovative industrial companies in Northern Europe. The candidate should be able to understand the big picture and connect that picture to the essential details and financial aspects of an acquisition. At the same time, this is a great opportunity to work with a small team in a dynamic environment that will offer big possibilities for rapid personal development. We would like to see that you have a good base, or foundation, of relevant knowledge & experience – someone that is looking to join an expanding organisation and be a key player in the development of the overall internal M&A process. Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience through corporate finance, business controlling, consulting or VC-capital with focus on transactions or valuations.
  • A relevant tertiary education (such as a university degree in Finance or Business).
  • Curious minded with the ability and hunger to learn new tasks.
  • Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Passion for industrial technology through past work experience, personal interests, activity in societies and communities, or other extracurricular areas.
  • Analytic and quantitative skills with the ability to connect high-level strategic thinking to the nuances in company’s financials.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an entrepreneurial and innovative mind set.
  • High degree of maturity working effectively in a small team.
  • Fluency in both English and Swedish is required.
