Our expectations

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, the clerk is responsible for completing and processing adjustments to charge accounts, in addition to assisting in the overall running of the Accounts Receivable Department.

Your role
Process cash receipts on customer accounts according to the daily list
Apply payments to invoices
Process account transfers
Complete customer master maintenance
Reconcile credit/debit accounts
Receive calls, faxes, and emails from customers, and resolve or forward for completion
Contact customers to resolve issues

The Qualifications We Are Looking For
2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field
Strong understanding of Lowe’s Canada’s credit policies and procedures (an asset)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a professional attitude
Tactful, persistent, and decisive attitude when communicating with customers
Knowledge of the Microsoft applications
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Attention to detail
Proven organizational and prioritization skills; capacity to deal with multiple tasks and tight deadlines
