SOSi is seeking a Logistics/Warehouse Manager to join a large medical support services program in Iraq in support of our U.S. government customer. The Logistics/Warehouse Manager will facilitate supervising the daily operation and administration of the warehouse facility. 

 

  • Supervises the daily operation and administration of the warehouse facility. 
  • Generates work assignments, manages schedules, sets priorities, assigns daily tasks, and reviews employee performance. 
  • Coordinates and prioritizes activities of warehouse employees engaged in receiving, cataloging, tagging, maintaining, storing, packing, and shipping inventory. 
  • Assigns appropriate resources, determines objectives and procedures, and monitors results to ensure inventory is accurate. 
  • Ensures materials are received, stored, shipped, and reported in accordance with established procedures and Government guidelines/regulations and meet contract requirements. 
  • Manages procedures and controls for hazardous material shipments. 
  • Ensures safety of workforce by educating employees on proper procedures and safety guidelines, strives to achieve an accident free workplace and attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes .

 

  • Required and able to obtain Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT).

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Proficient with computer software programs including Microsoft Office.

  • 4 or more years of progressively responsible experience in a logistical/warehouse environment desired with recent in the past year preferred.

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.

  • Hazardous Materials certification preferred.
