Our established US Support Centre is located near Orlando Airport (MCO) from where we provide a range of customer support activities including troubleshooting and helpdesk, inside sales, repairs and other supporting logistics and warehousing tasks.

 

The Role:

 

With a long-standing and sizeable North American client base that includes many well-known brands, our customers are at the heart of everything we do.

 

We are looking for an experienced Logistics and Warehousing Executive that will continue to provide timely and efficient support to our customers and work closely with selected shipping partners. ‘Hands-on’ inventory management and control experience is also a prerequisite for the role.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Responsible for all inbound and outbound shipping into and out of Orlando
  • Conduct the booking-in process for all returned inventory
  • Ensuring timely and accurate completion of all documentation relating to shipment and receipt of goods including hazardous materials (lithium batteries)
  • Liaising with site management as to when orders for new products and issue of replacement products are to be shipped and what service/carrier is to be used
  • Organising shipment through air, road or sea depending on cost and customer requirements
  • Complete annual freight vendor performance reviews, pricing negotiations, and regular competitor benchmarking exercises
  • Responsible for review of all local custom charges
  • Responsible for tracking units to return as part of Return Service
  • Provide tracking information for outbound shipping activities
  • Responsible for filing, following up and completion of claims.
  • Responsible for ensuring excellent inventory management throughout the business and zero variances vs. book stock.
  • Manage the appointed logistics partner(s) and minute monthly meetings
  • Ensure adequate stock of all inventory at all times using a re-order warning system
  • Responsible for submitting re-stock orders to parent company and/or suppliers in a timely matter.
  • Continuous monitoring of stock levels against sales forecasts.
  • Ensuring accuracy of inventory and reconciliation to in house software
  • Responsible for performing a monthly stock check of all stock
  • Manage and reconcile monthly stock take vs book stock and investigate /resolve any discrepancies.
  • Fulfil other tasks as requested
  • Ensure all designated tasks are conducted in line with Health and Safety policy
  • Liaise as required with key internal functions including Customer Support, Sales, Technical, Product, Operations, Finance
  • Able to perform cost analysis and compare with different courier services.

Skills & Personal Attributes:

  • Detailed knowledge of best practice shipping
  • Familiar with working alongside large global shipping partners
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Processing experience in Sage or another similar system
  • Aptitude for ensuring proper inventory management procedures are in place   
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and good telephone manner
  • Motivation and enthusiasm to satisfy customers and new prospects 
  • Strong communication (written/spoken)
  • Ability to pick, pack, and move inventory around the warehouse
  • Production control and planning
  • Computer literate
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Team-player
