For our headquarters in Schindellegi, Switzerland, we are looking for a HR Consultant (f/m/d) to strengthen the HR advice and services that we provide to our corporate colleagues.

Your Role

The human resources department supports and promotes the implementation of Kuehne+Nagel’s business strategy. We understand change as a prerequisite for being able to cope with future trends (customer needs, technology, people, etc.) and to create competitive advantages for our customers. The focus of this function is on people. You will ensure that employees at the Schindellegi site receive trusting and competent support in all matters. You advise on all personnel issues and ensure that the continuous change process is initiated and accompanied at all levels of the company.

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as the contact person for all HR related matters at the headquarters
  • Be the main contact person for all HR related matters for the Business Units Road Logistics, Sales, Marketing next to the Global HR Business Partner Road Logistics, Sales & Marketing
  • Provide administration to support the business on a day to day basis
  • Provide support in all HR related matter for onboarding newcomers as well from abroad
  • Prepare, analyze and disseminate data; input, update and maintain the HR database, personnel files and other information sources to ensure the data quality and accuracy
  • Support and co-ordinate the transfer of information to the payroll department in accordance with agreed payroll procedures
  • Manage the yearly bonus and salary process for all employees at the headquarters in your supported Business Units
  • Prepare reports and analyses on workforce management

Your Skills And Experiences

  • 3+ years of experience in a multi-national organization in HR or a related field handling domestic and international relocations and immigrations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or Business, or related field and/or Swiss certification as HR-Fachfrau / Fachmann mit eidg. Fachausweis (Swiss labor law)
  • Strong customer service orientation, interpersonal, written/verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to details with excellent analytical and problem solving ability
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; prioritize and handle a high volume of requests
  • Well versed in Swiss labor law and the Swiss social security system
  • Experience with global HR Systems
  • Some understanding of expatriate compensation, expatriate tax, relocation, and immigration matters
  • Excellent command of German and English
