Loan Officer

WHAT WE DO: LoanMart provides fast, professional assistance to financially stressed or credit-challenged segment of borrowers. Our place in the community was built over twenty years, growing from a family-owned single-store front in Van Nuys into the largest auto title lender in California.

LOCATION AND SHIFT INFO: This position is based in Van Nuys, CA and is a hybrid work opportunity. The shift fluctuates between a 7 am and 9 am start time, Mon-Fri, with periodic Saturday shifts. Subject to change depending on business need.

To Accomplish This, You’ll

Loan Officers educate and market loan products to potential and current customers via telephone, customizing solutions to suit their needs.

• Provide product-expert information to customers.
• Explain the advantages of doing business with LoanMart in comparison to our competitors or other less advantageous financial options.
• Review loan applications and documents to ensure that loans pushed to funding meet internal funding requirements and compliance standards.
• Speak to customers to explain loan terms, steps to fund, and other information necessary to move a potential loan forward.
• Follow through and follow-up on commitments made to customers such the status of missing information and/or possible loan leads.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Minimum two years successful sales experience in a commission-based retail or phone sales environment
• Basic operations of Windows, internet browsers, and email
• Preferred prior experience validating loan application information
• Previous experience preparing Direct Loan documents is a plus, as is Auto finance, consumer credit, loan experience

• $17 – $30 per hour (base + bonus)
