Living Well Commissioning Manager

Nottinghamshire County Council

We are looking to recruit an interim Commissioning Manager to jointly manage our Living Well Commissioning Team. You will be responsible for the commissioning of a range of services for working-age adults and associated services and for services for people with learning disabilities and autism. This includes the commissioning of services for those with complex needs that we formerly defined as the Transforming Care cohort. You will also be responsible for the commissioning of day opportunities for all adult service groups.

You will work closely and flexibly with the other Living Well Manager around the management of the Team and for meeting the requirements of the wider Living Well agenda, which includes mental health, physical and sensory disability and advocacy provision.

You will be responsible for managing a Team and for three direct reports. The post is based within the Council’s Adult Social Care Commissioning Team with a formal base at County Hall, West Bridgford. The Council is operating a hybrid working model combining home based and office working. You will work closely with other team members, operational staff and with health, district and Voluntary and Community Sector Partners.

This post is required due to the departure of the current post holder. An interim post is being sought to allow exploration of the development of an integrated approach with other partner organisations.
