Livelihoods Spanish Red Cross Delegate in Poland/Ukraine

In the context of the Ukraine crisis, the Livelihoods Resource Centre (LRC) and Spanish Red Cross (SpRC) are looking for an expert delegate in livelihoods and/or economic development to ensure coordination between the LRC and the SpRC on the one hand, and the Ukrainian Red Cross (URC), Poland Red Cross (PRC) and other Movement partners on the other, in relation their livelihood and employability interventions in Ukraine, and monitoring of employability programmes of Spanish Red Cross in Poland. This position is based in Poland (Warsaw) with very frequent missions to Ukraine.

For this position, a technical profile with experience in similar projects and knowledge of livelihoods and employability is required.

Expected duties…:

UKRAINE

• You will be responsible for providing technical assistance on livelihoods and employability to URC’s and other National Societies’ livelihoods and employability projects implemented in the country.
• You will identify opportunities for institutional strengthening and promote actions to find potential donors and enhance CRU’s autonomy in the management of livelihoods projects.
• You will organise and attend livelihoods coordination meetings with the RCU and other livelihoods-related Movement partners. You will be expected to go on mission to different regions of the country.
• Create and adapt technical materials related to both this operation and general livelihoods activities.
• You will perform any other tasks or functions that may arise and that the Livelihoods Centre and CRE HQ may consider appropriate to this mission.

POLAND

• Coordination of programmes with the PRC to improve the socio/labor inclusion of refugees from Ukraine.
• Technical assistance to the coordination team of the Polish Red Cross.
• Preparation and attendance of coordination meetings and follow-up visits.
• Representation and coordination of the project before possible donors and stakeholders.
• Design/Propose improvement proposals of an organizational, structural, resource, etc. type.
• Design and establish criteria to be able to carry out monitoring reports and final evaluation of the intervention.

Job requirements…

• Master’s, Bachelor’s or post-graduate degree, or proven experience.
• Experience in project cycle management in livelihoods, economic development and/or food security of at least one and a half years.
• C1 level of English, written and spoken. A level test will be carried out.
• Proficiency in Windows environment, technical and transversal competences.
• Documentation to be able to be hired according to Spanish legislation (National Identity Document (DNI) or Identification Number for Foreigners (NIE), bank account in Spain.
