*Position Location – Remote (Home based) to be determined by the home country of the successful candidate in a jurisdiction (US state or country) where WVI is registered to operate.

Here’s where you come in:

As Livelihoods Knowledge Management, Capacity Building, and Communications Senior Advisor, you will develop and implement a Livelihoods capability enhancement system (including guidelines, processes, competencies, learning assets and learning pathways) and support GC, SO, RO, and FO teams to plan and implement comprehensive Livelihoods competency and capability strengthening interventions. You will also manage and provide expert advice to the sector Communities of Practice and other learning networks regarding collecting and sharing lessons learned, identifying and validating promising and good practices for programme quality improvement, increasing staff capacity, subject matter expert identification, and planning online learning opportunities for community members. In conjunction with the Global Knowledge Management team, s/he will establish knowledge management systems and processes to ensure cross Partnership learning and development and support world-class implementation of selected sector interventions or project models.

Requirements include:

  • Master’s level or equivalent in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Humanitarian Assistance or any related field.
  • At least 7 years of relevant Knowledge Management (KM) experience with increasing responsibility and scope of role
  • At least 5 years of experience in a role that required clear, high quality communications content (not necessarily a formal Communications role)
  • At least 5 years of experience of working across different sectors or departments or offices in World Vision.
  • Language Requirements: English fluent Spanish or French – desirable
  • Work Environment/Travel: 10% travel.

Compensation: For positions filled in the United States, the typical salary range for this role is $81.368.35 to $101.710.44 USD Annually. Ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, job level, internal equity and budget. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience and geographic location.
