Why this is your opportunity
You will be our first dedicated, in-house Legal Counsel, who provides expert legal advice and ensures that we operate within the law throughout the following tasks:
- Ensure compliance with European and national labor laws and monitor legislation updates, manage regulatory changes in labor law and following processes implementations, keep up to date with legislative changes and track regulatory compliance
- Build THE strategy for compliance for the topic “work from anywhere”. Together with experts, you’ll work out the legal foundation of the solution to enable employer & their employees to fully legally complaint and manage through our platform
- Anticipate legal issues, strategically estimate risks, and identify proactive solutions that will eliminate or mitigate risks
- Provide strategic counsel to leadership and stakeholders on a variety of legal topics related to labor, relocation, taxation; work together with external parties & experts in the field of cross-European labor law in case you need any advice on the practice of local labor law
Why we’ll love you
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s or already successfully graduated from a law study program, focussed on European labor law/taxation
- First experiences in dealing with the following topics within Europe: Employment laws, Labor laws, General Corporate laws, Taxation
- Profound knowledge of European labor law, ability to identify and mitigate risks and conduct legal analysis throughout the company
- A keen eye for detail to anticipate legal issues, proactive and self-motivated approach to tasks, ability to work within a team, as well as independently
- Business fluent command of English (additional German skills are a plus!), European working permit required, availability of 40h/week
- A true Charly soon to be crew member – an enthusiastic and self-organized personality with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
