ROLE SUMMARY

The Legal Administrator – Internship role requires expertise in certain aspects of the legal field in order to provide specialist support to an area of the legal function

3 months Internship in AstraZeneca MEA Legal Department Reporting to: Area Legal Department

AstraZeneca is offering a unique Internship opportunity for motivated law graduates based in Dubai to be part of a highly diverse and inclusive legal department. You will have the opportunity to work with senior lawyers in different jurisdictions, learn to use IT corporate tools and gain valuable insights into the wide range of legal matters in the pharmaceutical sector across Middle East and Africa

This is a great opportunity to join AZ as part of the growing Medical team in Viruses, Vaccines & Infectious Disease Therapy Area based in Saudi. What you’ll do

Principal accountabilities are:

· Provide general legal support to Area Legal Director and MEA Legal Team with legal matters

· Support reporting activities

· Legal research on laws and cases

· Preparation of slides and documents for internal meetings

· Assist in drafting documents/contracts

· Onboarding of law firms, checking external law firm invoices and initiating the internal processes for approval

· Support corporate secretarial work for AZ legal Entities

. Administrative support to MEA Legal Team using AZ IT tools (concur, DocuSign, APP)

Essential for the role

· Law Degree with strong credentials

· Good spoken and written English

· Team working skills

. Intern must have a valid residency visa in Dubai (AZ will not sponsor the Intern)

. Fluency in Arabic or French (desirable)
