What You’ll Bring
Overview / Position Summary:
The role is a member of the European HR Team with matrix reporting into Global Talent & Development team and delivers the European Talent, learning and development strategy ensuring priority development needs are identified and interventions are aligned to the wider TransUnion methodology and approach. Responsible for delivery of the Early Careers earn and learn development programme.
The role requires an ability to work under pressure with challenging and sometimes conflicting deadlines. It requires strong people and stakeholder management skills, and involves providing a service for all colleagues and managers within the European region as well as liaison and relationship building across the international region for activities such as management development, early career programmes etc.
Core Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Works with the Senior Consultant, Talent & Development and wider HR Team to continually evolve the European HR Strategy / People Plans to drive employee engagement and retention
- Delivers learning and development interventions using a range of methodologies including face to face, webinars, webex, elearning
- Leads and/or participates in learning and development projects aimed at improving capability and competence across TransUnion, mainly aligned to colleague and team lead / management development
- Liaises with regional HR Business partners and Global Centres of Excellence to design and deliver business critical learning solutions for the European Region
- Supports roll out of global initiatives as required
- Acts as an internal consultant on L&D matters, recommending and delivering interventions as needed
- Implements and manages the evaluation and measurement of all activity to ensure return on investment and value add is achieved
- Driven to achieve objectives and goals, and able to influence others in supporting those initiatives and recommended solutions
- Supports specific coaching and mentoring needs with colleagues and line managers
- Works with the Senior L&D Consultant Management and tracking of the UK L&D Budget, managing third parties and vendor relationships where appropriate and maximising external employer brand
- Manages the UK Apprenticeship Levy and ensures proactive marketing and engagement of apprenticeship levy spend across the business
- Supports the Senior L&D Consultant where appropriate with initiatives such as the talent review and succession planning processes
- Supports the high performance culture initiative across the Region through different interventions
- Responsible for management of and the delivery of the comprehensive Early Careers programme that supports the community to shift from ‘classroom to corporate’ (apprentices, graduates and management of Apprenticeship levy)
- Works with the Senior Consultant, Talent & Delivery to continually improve the Women Emerging Leadership Programme across the European region, liaising with external partners and involved in delivery as appropriate
- Fully engaged with jEDI agenda
- Able to work independently and with initiative
Required Skills / Qualifications / Experience
- Graduate calibre or above ideally within HR and or learning and development
- Coaching / mentoring qualification – desirable
- Solid learning and development experience responsible for creating and delivering training programmes in Early careers and management development and ideally Women in leadership
- Ability to work with numerous stakeholders, taking global initiatives and ensuring adaptations applied for region
- Ability to bring external thought leadership theories into the organisation
- Experience in learning and development, design, delivery and facilitation of models, programmes and events
- Proven change management/transformational change experience, particularly embedding new cultures, values and beliefs due to mergers and acquisitions through a range of interventions
- Strong engagement and influencing skills with ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to present and facilitate large groups of employees including management levels in person and virtually
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence and persuade challenging internal customer client base and external contacts
- Ability to apply sound judgement and expertise in complex and/or unusual scenarios
- Builds trusted relationships, and brings energy and enthusiasm and shows resilience
- Ability to work in fast paced environment with multiple priorities
