Job Purpose

Astound Commerce provides our talent with world-class learning and development. Astound Academy is seeking an experienced Training Programs Developer and trainer to work hand in hand with our Project and Program Management departments.

Are you experienced in developing and delivering training for learners who are project or program managers? Are you a project manager who has experience, skills and passion for teaching others and you think about making it your full-time job? In this role you will get to

• To act as a trainer dedicated to supporting the Portfolio Management Office (PMO);
• Define learning goals for curricula supporting Agile, SAFe, Program Management Skills and PMP training;
• Create and manage the training plan;
• Collaborate with the PMO to define training needs for the evolving role of PM and develop a training strategy in 3 directions:
• Bootcamps – programs for beginners;
• Onboarding into the department – internal process training;
• Continuous development – hard and soft skills training for PMs;
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and leverage existing materials to develop hybrid synchronous / asynchronous learning modules;
• Institute evaluation of training success on 3 levels:
• Learner satisfaction;
• Change in behaviour;
• Business goals achievement;
• Leverage work of external consultants to develop re-enforcement courses;
• Manage continued refreshment of existing training.

Your Skills And Qualifications

• 2+ years of working experience as a trainer;
• 3+ years Project / Program Management experience or relevant PM certified education;
• PMI, PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is an advantage;
• Organizational and planning skills to effectively manage training schedules, to meet deadlines and objectives;
• Interpersonal skills that enable to work with people of different cultures and levels of seniority, effectively interact with company management, inform and advise others clearly;
• Problem-solving and negotiation skills, a service mindset;
• Experience to organize training events and prepare supplementary; materials in a timely and effective manner;
• University Bachelor’s degree or higher;
• Fluent verbal and written English.
