Community Integrated Care is currently seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to join the People team in our North Scotland region encompassing Aberdeenshire and Moray on a Part-time, Permanent basis.

Y ou will need to be available to work from our Glasgow office when required and travel to services in the region, but otherwise you can work from home or a flex between the two.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

This important role deliver s high quality and engaging training to give our front-line colleagues the skills and knowledge they need to be brilliant in their roles, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the people we support and enabling them to lead the best life possible.

Day to Day

Y Ou’ll Work With The Regional People Team To Support The Delivery Of Great Learning – Either Face To Face Or Virtually Across The Region . Day To Day You’ll Be

  • Delivering brilliant training sessions on a range of subjects – from first aid, and safeguarding , to how to administer medication, or positive behavioural support techniques .
  • Work ing with our bespoke digital learning platform “Dare to Learn”
  • Run ning reports and us ing information to spot trends
  • Forecasting needs and scheduling courses
  • Working with local leaders to ensure their team ’ s learning needs are met

  • You are brilliant at communicating – you find it easy to explain things in a way that is easy for others to understand
  • People might say you tell a great story – you’re brilliant at bringing subjects to life with great anecdotes, making topics relatable to your audience
  • You pick up systems quickly – it never takes you long to learn a new app, programme, or website.
  • You love working with people – you are confident talking to a group , leading discussions, and trying to get the best from people
  • You love being in charge of your own diary and setting your own schedule .
  • You are looking for variety – some days delivering from your desk and others travelling and delivering training face to face

Skills And Experience

  • You’ll have extensive on-the-job experience leading and facilitating brilliant training sessions or a NVQ L3 in Health and Social Care
  • A teaching qualification, train the trainer certificate, or recognised assessor award would be beneficial.
  • You’ll have brilliant IT skills
  • You’ l l need a full UK driving licence to travel for this role
