We’re looking for a Lead Power Platform Developer to join our Data Engineering and Business Intelligence Team. The Data department supports the RNLI through leading the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions appropriate to the needs of our lifesaving and fundraising staff and their supporting teams, so they continue to raise necessary funds and focus on saving everyone.

Your role

As a Lead Power Platform Developer, you will be tasked with focussing on the following areas:

  • Driving digital transformation by creating products that enhance business processes, automate workflows, streamline the data journey, and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements for the PowerPlatform and translate them into technical designs and solutions using various tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
  • Integrate the Power Platform applications with external data sources, APIs, and enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow and real-time updates.
  • Provide technical leadership for the power platform developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

You have an innovative approach to problem-solving and work in an agile way. With an always has learning mindset, you are keen to challenge existing ways of working to ensure proactive collaboration and continuous delivery.

To be considered as the Lead Power Platform Developer you will need:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Power Platform Developer, demonstrating the ability to architect and develop complex solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
  • Proven Leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead projects from concept to delivery.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and project management practices.
