You will be responsible to create and implement an overarching optimization approach that positively influences the whole content creation department in planning and steering. Together with your team you will define a Planning and Performance strategy derived from the overall zlCS and Offprice strategy to support the content production best and derive sustainable and resilient solutions.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
- You ensure that our vision, direction and goals are clearly communicated to your team.
- Together with your team you are responsible to achieve and increase all relevant KPIs and reportings in the area of planning and performance for all content creation teams.
- You have a detailed understanding of the business and the content creation process and corresponding KPIs
- You analyse KPIs and reportings and define cross-functional projects and take over the responsibility to improve the productivity and efficiency of the teams.
- With your strategic mindset you define the future of the Planning and Performance Management Team
- You work closely with the production departments and various cross-functional stakeholders.
- You manage long-lasting relationships. You are an expert in collaboration and demonstrate that you convince others by providing persuasive concepts as well as decision documents.
- You help raise the bar at Zalando, you provide clear guidance to constantly improve the team’s performance, and play a significant role in the career development of others.
- You lead your team to deliver exceptional outcomes and manage sustainable team health.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
- You have solid background in planning and performance management and data analytics (5years+) in a fast-paced environment.
- Cross-functional work experience is a must; you understand different key areas of the business such as retail, buying, logistics, tech teams, etc.
- You have experience managing mid sized projects with different stakeholders and delivering measurable improvement (process improvement, data driven decision making, people topics, change management etc.)
- You have outstanding people skills, you have led different profiles before and can develop internal talents.
- Fly high, dive deep approach. You are able to see the bigger picture and bring the team together, making them more efficient and innovative. You are comfortable liaising at all levels within the business.
