LEAD ENGINEER – LONDON OR BERLIN – REMOTE WORKING
A leading marketing technology agency is looking to expand its team in either the London or Berlin office. The team is looking for a Lead Engineer who can combine technology and creativity to solve real world marketing problems.
You will be working on exciting marketing projects such as; chat bots, VR/AR, AI & Metaverse – your focus will be ensuring that the design, application, and maintenance of software meets quality standards. You will also have the opportunity to lead and manage a team. The company works with many companies such as Just Eat Takeaway, Facebook, Tik Tok and more.

Role
As a Lead Engineer, you will be joining the team to lead on a number of exciting marketing technology projects, working with leading brands across different industries.
Your role will be split between hands-on engineering work, and line managing other individual contributors. You will focus on ensuring that the design, application, and maintenance of the software meets the quality standards that clients expect.
Experience working on client projects with strict deadlines is desirable, as is management experience. The successful candidate will be a proven tech leader, with a passion for writing clean, concise code that can be used as the foundation for several successful projects.
Required skills, not limited to
- Web Software development and programming experience
- Engineering experience with Typescript, Node.JS, React.JS
- Experience writing and utilising RESTful API services and performance-tuning large-scale applications
- Knowledge in working with CI/CD setup and with micro-services architectures
- Experience using Google Cloud, AWS, AIML and Facebook APIs
