Background information
The ASML Privacy Office – based in Veldhoven – is looking for a Privacy Intern to support the ASML Privacy Practice. The Privacy Office is a young team of approximately 15 professionals with different backgrounds and disciplines.
Your assignment
You will support the Privacy Office on various topics, including providing legal advice to the business as well as the Privacy Team on privacy and personal data protection rules and regulations. This includes
- conducting Legal research;
- monitoring relevant international changes in privacy regulations and their applicability to ASML;
- handling data subject requests;
- investigating data breaches and solving them;
- developing and maintaining privacy related, policies, procedures, guidance and instructions;
- taking part in Privacy Programs/Projects.
Your profile
To be the perfect match for this internship, you
- are a master student in Law & Technology;
- have a sound understanding of GDPR and are familiar with different privacy rules and regulations around the world;
- patient, eager to learn, creative and helpful;
- are fluent in English and preferably another language.
This is a master apprentice internship to gain work experience. The minimum duration is 6 months, 4-5 days per week, starting as soon as possible.
Please note that we may only consider applicants who are enrolled as a student to a university for the whole duration of the internship.
