Key Responsibilities

• Supporting gravel pits and recycle yard in the Greater Calgary Area
• Operate loader to load trucks with aggregates.
• Operate farm tractor, rock truck and skid steer for pit reclamation activities
• Labour activities as required
• Provide support to scale activities by checking incoming loads of demolition rubble and scaling aggregate
• Will be required to work at multiple sites depending on coverage and based on site demands.

Required Knowledge And Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience working as an Equipment Operator, specifically Loader and Farm Tractor preferred.
• Familiar with aggregates and the construction industry an asset.
• Adaptable to work a flexible work schedule when required.
• Self-motivated with good organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
• Must be a team player.
