Knowledge Exchange and Research Communications Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to work pro-actively and collaboratively with colleagues, students and graduates across CCW. This is a new role that will report in to the Head of Communications and work closely with the Associate Deans for KE and Research to support the delivery of our new KE and Research Strategy.

This will include taking responsibility for developing our web and social media presence and profile, developing campaigns, a regular newsletters and building a repository of case studies targeted towards different audiences that demonstrate the breadth and impact of our KE and research activity.

Your profile

Educated to degree level in English, Journalism, Marketing or related degree, you ideally have a track record in developing and managing communications strategies, plans and campaigns and content across a wide range of social media platforms and communication channels.

You have advanced written and digital communication skills along with excellent editing, proofreading, PR and media skills and experience of compliance with data protection. Basic technical knowledge of CMS Working knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics is also required.

The role will require efficient project management skills with the proven ability to plan, co-ordinate and review work, effort, and resources, ensuring maximum efficiency and delivery of goals. Experience of knowledge exchange and research in an HE environment would be advantageous.
